Which Charity?

Posted on January 7, 2012 | 2 Comment(s)

I’m having trouble to decide which charity the funds will go to so I thought it would be great asking you!

At first I had in mind a charity for children as they suffer from what we do wrong in the world. But that seemed a bit too limited. And since this project is about the economical / financial crisis I thought it would be great to donate something to charities that supports products and trades to be divided more equally or simply treat each other with more honesty. Oxfam Novib and FairTrade, with the latter as my preference, stand out to me.

Underneath is a poll where you may choose between the two or choose “other” and specify which other.

Edited: Poll is closed!

I voted ‘other’ as I’d like to suggest the Make A Wish organisation. The reason for this is that we are leaving our children with a mess that we created. The least we can do is to help children with life-threatening medical conditions have their fondest wish fullfilled.

Hi Hans,

Thank you for voting. I was thinking about doing something for children in the first place but changed my mind later on as I would prefer to donate to a charity which tries to change the system itself so we won’t need those charities for children anymore. Never gonna happen, I know, but I can still try.
